Packing List tips for various trips

So what do I pack on a typical trip?

Depends on where I am going, for how long, the weather expected..,

No matter where I go I pack all my gear into smaller packing cubes within my bag – it helps to organize similar items together.

e.g. Shacke Pak – 4 Set Packing Cubes

If it’s a month long business trip (warm climate) I pack:

  • 5 long sleeved shirts,
  • 3 ties,
  • 2 black pants,
  • 1 pair formal shoes,
  • 2 suit coats / jackets,
  • 1 pair running takkies,
  • 1 pair flip-flops,
  • 1 hoodie / jacket,
  • 1 sweater,
  • Underwear for a week,
  • 1 Jeans,
  • 4 t-shirts,
  • 1 track-pants,
  • 1 short-pants,
  • 1 swimming costume,
  • Phone, Camera, with their chargers and the relevant international power adaptor,
  • 2 pens and a small notebook,
  • Laptop / Tablet (depends on the type of business trip),
  • Emergency meds,
  • Toiletries,

  • Mosquito repellent (depending on where I am travelling),
  • If it’s cold, then I would add long-johns, and additional jerseys/sweaters,

Rule of thumb: Try to take as little as possible.

Wherever you go nowadays it’s great to have a good power bank for you to recharge your electronics.
